Previous Career in Software Engineering

I spent the bulk of my time as an undergrad preparing myself for my software engineering career, before I did it and decided my interests lie in research. Beyond programming skills, I gained expertise in technical communication, the ability to manage large scale projects, an understanding of industry decision making.
